Appropriates $5 Million in the Colorado Convention Center Capital Fund (38422) for Colorado Convention Center Maintenance to correct an omission in the 2023 Long Bill. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 2-28-2023.

This bill request seeks to appropriate $5 million for the Colorado Convention Center to fund annual maintenance expenditures, as an administrative correction to ordinance 1446, series of 2022. Maintenance projects may include facility deferred maintenance for a variety of needs within the Convention Center including elevator; lobbies and restrooms; carpet, tile, and fa?ade; parking garage; technology; and other maintenance needs that may be identified as emergency repairs throughout the year. The cash transfer for this appropriation was previously approved. This ordinance would make an appropriate in the fund to match the transfer amount.
