A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed Grant Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) concerning the "Denver-Metro Regional Navigation Campus Navigation Center Grant" program and the funding therefor.
Approves a grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs through the Metro Regional Navigation Campus Grant Program, for $7,049,000 and an end date of 6-30-2026 to assist with the acquisition of the Denver Navigation Center which offers integrated services for the homeless with complex needs and long lengths of homelessness, in Council District 8 (HOST-202474655). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-12-2024. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 7-10-2024. Council member Gonzales-Gutierrez called this item out at the 7-22-2024 meeting for a one-week postponement to 7-29-2024.
