A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed grant agreement between the City and County of Denver and the State of Colorado concerning the "FY18-19 Local Planning and Support" program and the funding therefor.
Approves a one-year $942,548 grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to support core public health services including the reduction of child deaths due to unintentional injury, violence, motor vehicle incidents, child abuse, and neglect (201841958). The Local Planning and Support Contract is an annual contract to local public health departments to support core public health services. Since 1997, the Local Planning and Support Contract has been executed between Denver Public Health (Denver Health and Hospital Authority) and CDPHE to off-set the City's general fund payment to DPH.
