Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.
The purpose of these funds is to reduce the number of Denver families in poverty by providing employment services to TANF participants, thereby increasing work participation and improving the chances for self-sufficiency. This particular contract will provide employment placement and retention services to those TANF participants that DHS deem "job-ready." As such, it is anticipated that this contract will serve approximately 30% of the full TANF caseload.
