A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Amendatory Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Town of Morrison, Colorado, regarding the Water Treatment Facility at Denver Mountain Parks Headquarters in Jefferson County.
Amends an intergovernmental agreement with the Town of Morrison to expand the boundary of the water treatment plant located at Red Rocks Park to comply with new state-mandated regulations for municipal water treatment facilities and to allow the construction and operation of a clear well facility as a permitted facility (XC7A032). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-26-17. The Committee approved filing this bill by consent on 5-30-17.

Type and Scope of services to be performed: The Town of Morrison wishes to expand their use of the Water Treatment facility on Parks property, at Red Rocks Park. This allows Morrison to expand the current water treatment plant located at Red Rocks Park to comply with new state mandated regulations for municipal water treatment facilities. The amendment changes the boundary and adds the construction and operation of a clear well facility as permitted facilities. This water treatment plant provides water to the CCC Camp and DPR Mountain Parks Headquarters as well as the Amphitheatre at Red Rocks.
