The United States Department of Health and Human Services - Administration for Children and Families has awarded Grant Number 08CH1119 in the amount of $9,098,563.00 to the City and County of Denver - Office of Children's Affairs to operate the Federal Head Start program and provide services to 1,153 children in its established service area. This appropriation will provide 80% percent of funding based upon a letter of intent to allow the Office of Children's Affairs to award funds to all sub-recipients.
