A bill for an ordinance making rescissions, cash transfers, and supplemental appropriations from the General Fund Contingency to Departments.
Approves a supplemental appropriation of $6,592,000 from General Fund Contingency for several city agencies, including the Denver Sheriff Department, the Office of the Municipal Public Defender, and Technology Services, as well as for Capital Improvement Project funds for Real Estate and Navigate Denver North. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 10-16-18.

Supplemental Appropriations from General Fund Contingency:
Denver Sheriff Department: Requests $1,867,000 for personnel costs associated with the 2018-2019 Collective Bargaining Agreement. The CBA was not finalized/approved until after the 2018 budget had been finalized. Accounting number 01010-3530000.
Office of the Municipal Public Defender: Requests $100,000 to support contract attorneys to cover a General Sessions court room that was created after the finalization of the 2018 budget. Accounting No. 01010-0520000.
