A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed amended Grant Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the Colorado Department of Human Services concerning the “Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program FY18-19” program and the funding therefor.
Amends a grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Early Childhood, by adding $200,000 for a new total of $400,000 and one year for a new end date of 9-30-19 to support the Promoting Safe and Stable Families program, citywide (SOCSV2017-36497-01). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 12-10-18. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-7-18.

This amendment would approve a third year of funding to support Denver’s Promoting Safe and Stable Families Program through contract control number SOCSV-2017-36497-01. The term would be extended to September 30, 2019, and $200,000 would be added to the contract bringing the maximum contract amount to $400,000 and the total funding awarded over the three-year period to $500,000.
