This ordinance requests the creation of a new Strategic Shelter Facilities Capital Fund in the Capital Improvement Fund as a follow-up administrative financial action to support the 2019 Budget which includes $3.35M appropriated for Strategic Shelter Facilities projects. The eligible expenditures in the Strategic Shelter Facilities capital fund include capital improvements, such as planning, design, or construction activities, to existing or new shelter facilities. The fund will be in the Capital Improvements and Maintenance Fund Series and the fund number will be 33090. It will be appropriated and non-lapsing. The expending authority will be the Chief Financial Officer.
