The purpose of the resolution is to set a public hearing to approve the East Colfax Corridor Urban Redevelopment Plan ("Plan").
Approval of the Plan establishes an Urban Redevelopment Area to assist in the process of redevelopment of portions of Colfax Avenue between Monaco Parkway and Yosemite Street. The Plan establishes the framework for future City Council approval of public improvement projects and private redevelopment projects and the use of Property and/or Sale Tax increment (TIF) for those approved projects.
