This bill request is a companion ordinance to CB19-1176 which amends Chapter 48, Article IX of the DRMC to impose a disposable bag fee at retail stores and establish parameters around the program. This ordinance establishes the Disposable Bag Fee Fund, Fund No. 11877, in the General Government Series to receive the new fee, penalty, and interest revenue as well as administer the program.
