A resolution approving a proposed Third Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Zonar Systems, Inc. to extend the term and increase funding.
Amends a contract with Zonar Systems, Inc by adding $486,144.19 for a new total of $2,570,671.81 and 13 months for a new end date of 10-31-20 for GPS enabled technology used to reduce fuel consumption, lower emissions, improve routing and other services for City vehicles (201312449). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 2-3-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 12-31-19.

Denver Public Works has been in a contractual relationship with Zonar Inc. since October 01,2013 to provide Telematic managed services for the City and County of Denver. In addition to performing location tracking, idle time, and average miles traveled and mileage this system is used for our pre and post trip inspections for our units that require DOT inspections for compliance, enhanced inspections for units with specialized bodies, and for use in tracking snow plow operations in PocketGov so the citizens of CCD can stay informed during the snow season.
