Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Pursuant to its receipt of a FY2016 HUD Choice Neighborhood Implementation Grant, DHA is redeveloping Sun Valley. This redevelopment in the Sun Valley neighborhood, includes owner-occupied and rental housing, youth and education facilities and programs, international food and micro-business services; and parks and open space. The City has fully committed to support the redevelopment of Sun Valley and $16.7m was included in the Elevate Denver Bond program to reconstruct 13th Avenue. These dollars are to advance the reconstruction of 13th Avenue and other improvements to be led by DHA as specified in this IGA. These improvements will better connect Sun Valley to Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods, provide safe and convenient routes/facilities for all modes, support community vitality, enhance 13th Avenue and Holden Place as green connections to parks and trails, support economic development, and allow for the timely completion of DHA’s revitalization/reconstruction of the neighborhood.
