A resolution approving a proposed Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Oak Environmental, LLC for on-call asbestos, mold and lead abatement services.
Approves a contract with Oak Environmental, LLC for $1,000,000 and for three years, with two optional one-year renewals, for on-call asbestos abatement services for city-owned facilities, citywide (ENVHL-202054516). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-15-20. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-13-20.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Services consist of abatement, remediation and management of asbestos containing building materials, lead-based paint, mold and management of regulated asbestos contaminated soils (RACS) for environmental operation and maintenance activities relating to these services. Services may include the development and schedule of building demolition to complete environmental operations and maintenance activities. Building demolition is not the primary work scope and therefore will remain a service selected as needed.
Individual projects will vary from large planned projects to minor projects and will be performed on an as needed basis to be directed through a notice to proceed issued after a proposed statement of work and cost proposal have been approved.
