Executive Summary with Rationale and Impact:

Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.

The Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency (CASR) was established in the past year to elevate and expand the City and County of Denver’s climate initiatives. CASR is pursuing grant funds to further its impact, including federal grants, but currently lacks a fund to administer them. This bill request establishes the “Climate Federal Grants Fund”, Fund No. 11010, in the General Government Special Revenue Fund Series. The fund will be sponsor funded and the expending authority will be the Executive Director of the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency.
