A resolution approving a proposed Third Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Ferkham, Inc. d/b/a Extreme Towing & Recovery, for comprehensive towing services.
Amends a contract with Ferkham, Inc. doing business as Extreme Towing & Recovery, by adding $1,500,000 for a new total of $8,600,000 and one year for a new end date of 12-31-21 to provide comprehensive towing services for the Denver Police Department, Denver Sheriff’s Department, Denver Right of Way Enforcement and other city agencies (POLIC-201627602-03; POLIC-201951333). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 3-8-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 2-3-21.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
- The proposed third amendment will extend the term of the agreement for an additional year for the period 9/16/2016 - 12/31/2021 and add appropriation of $1,500.000.00 for a new contract total of $8,600,000.00.
- DOTI, DSD, DFD and other City agencies utilize this contract as well.
- In 2020, General Services pulled together a city-wide group of tow stakeholders and is drafting an RFP for tow services to be released first quarter.
Ferkham, Inc. dba Extreme Towing & Recovery provides comprehensive towing services for the Denver Police Department, Denver Sheriff’s Department and Denver Right of Way Enforcement and other city agencies.
