In recent years certain individuals third party entities whom contract with the City have refused to promptly provide documents and information necessary for the Auditor to perform internal audits as required by City Charter and Code. In addition, passage of Denver's minimum wage law in late 2019 has increased the type and amount of information necessary for the Auditor to collect to perform his duties. As a result, the Auditor seeks to establish subpoena power in City Code...
