Type and Scope of services to be performed:

DDPHE will utilize funding provided by this grant to work with Denver Public Health and partners in the community to expand strategies for addressing inequities associated with COVID-19 and to extend this work to eliminate health disparities in the future. This funding also will help cover the costs of providing direct financial support, information, training and other assets to community partners in support of collective efforts to eliminate health disparities.

DDPHE has supported populations most impacted by COVID-19.  In doing this work, DDPHE created an infrastructure that will serve as the foundation for its continued response and recovery efforts, and its on-going work to eliminate health disparities. This funding also will support DDPHE’s efforts to ensure the accuracy and efficacy of data in capturing the real experience of people living in communities most impacted by COVID-19, and to use this data to inform its work and provide information that can be used by organizations and people in communities.
