A resolution approving a proposed Second Amendment to Steam Service Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Public Service Company of Colorado to provide additional heating capacity needed for the Colorado Convention Center roof-top expansion project.
Amends a contract with Public Service Company of Colorado (PSCo) by adding $1,024,339 for a new total of $13,849,339 replacing Schedule B and adding a new Schedule C of the contract to define the design and construction costs for the steam system expansion and obligate PSCo to upgrade the capacity of the system to provide adequate heating capacity as part of the Roof-Top Expansion project at the Colorado Convention Center in Council District 9. No change to contract duration (CE0Y098-02; GENRL-202158745). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-30-21. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 7-27-21.
