This bill request authorizes a $5,000,000 supplemental appropriation in the Department of Finance to make payments to active City employees as of August 2, 2021 who complied with the terms of the COVID-19 vaccination mandate by Sept. 30, 2021. On August 2, 2021, the City and County of Denver implemented a new Public Health Order (PHO) requiring all city employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by September 30, 2021 or face progressive disciplinary action.
