Executive Summary with Rationale and Impact:

Detailed description of the item and why we are doing it. This can be a separate attachment.

DOTI (Wastewater) and Denver Parks and Rec are collaborating on a pond and park project near Heron Pond/Carpio Sanguinette Park, which will replace East 51st Avenue east of Emerson Street.  The roadway will also extend to the 51st Avenue Bridge over the South Platte River (constructed Spring 2022).  A new water main will service the proposed park and future development south of 51st Avenue and connect to the water main replaced with the 51st Avenue Bridge/Levee Project.  A 50-ft non-exclusive easement is being granted to the Denver Water Board for the portion of roadway between the existing 51st Avenue right-of-way and the levee.
