This will allow for the continuation of remediation, abatement and demolition of environmentally regulated building materials and other properties owned and operated by the City to protect public health, remain in compliance with state laws, and to minimize City environmental liability associated with abatements, renovations, and demolitions. The use of this general abatement contractor for the full term of 5 years is expected to exceed the current contract value.
On-call contract (no work guaranteed) to provide the City with professional asbestos, lead, mold, and any other environmentally regulated building materials abatement services. To provide as needed planned and emergency operation & maintenance, renovation required remediations, management of regulated asbestos-contaminated soils and building demolitions.
