Type and Scope of services to be performed: Federal CARES Act Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Emergency Solution Grant - Corona Virus Program (ESG-CV) funds are to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance; and to support additional homeless assistance and homelessness prevention activities to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19.

 

                     The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless ESG-CV contract supports the 48th Street Health Clinic, housed inside the men’s shelter at 4600 E. 48th Ave., and is also accessible to guests of the neighboring women’s shelter. This clinic provides support for integrated health staffing, mental health, primary care health, substance abuse and case management providers. It provides onsite healthcare in a congregate setting, with the goal to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 among sheltered persons experiencing homelessness. The program currently supports an average of 10-15 patients per day.
