Type and Scope of services to be performed:

BUSCO, INC. will provide transportation to women and men experiencing homelessness within the City and County of Denver daily from designated Central Downtown Denver areas to various approved shelter locations throughout Denver.  

 

Scope of work:

BUSCO, INC. will provide bus transportation to individuals experiencing homelessness daily throughout the term of this contract. 

                     Busco, Inc, will provide bus transportation to individuals experiencing homelessness daily through the term of this contract using a 54-passenger motor coach. Transports are from designated points of origin to designated destinations and occur every morning and evening. 

                     Locations are generally located within five (5) miles from central Denver. Starting locations are in central downtown Denver and ending locations are in the vicinity of I-70 and Colorado Boulevard.

                     Busco will provide ADA accessible vehicles for individuals in wheelchairs or with other mobility impairments.

                     Passenger groups are to be picked up and dropped off within a 3-hour window in the morning and a 3-hour window in the evening daily. The morning route window begins at approximately 6:00 a.m. and evening routes begin at approximately 5:00 p.m.

                     Transportation will allow for rider capacity of approximately 200 people in the morning and 300 in the evening.

                     All additional routes must be approved by HOST management. Additional routes cannot exceed the allocated budget for the current term of the contract.

                     Busco, Inc. must have a contingency plan that includes notification to HOST management, shelter locations and clientele if they cannot run routes and/or routes are running late.
