Authorizes the purchase of capital equipment from the Parks Legacy Fund (15828) to support irrigation system projects for smaller parks. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 2-28-2023.

Denver Parks and Recreation is seeking approval to purchase capital equipment to support the operations of an in-house irrigation construction team. This purchase will come from the Parks Legacy Fund (15828.7040600) and be used by the irrigation construction team to support smaller park irrigation projects to increase efficiency and save money. DPR is bringing this ordinance first to get the approval for the equipment ordered now due to supply chain issues. Staffing of the Irrigation Team will come later once has the necessary equipment in place.
