September 19, 2022, City Council approved an Intergovernmental Agreement (2022-1003) between The City and County of Denver (CCD) and the Trustees of the Colorado Firefighter Heart and Cancer Benefits Trust to join the Colorado Firefighter Cancer Trust's Voluntary Cancer Benefits Award Program (VCAP), as established by the State of Colorado Senate Bill 17-214.
