A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed Grant Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the United States of America Department of Labor (DOL) concerning the “DOL Building Pathways to Infrastructure H-1B Job Training Grant” program and the funding therefor.
Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration for $6,250,000.00 and a term ending on 09-30-2029 to allow Denver Economic Development & Opportunity to receive $5 million in U.S. Department of Labor H-1B funds for the training and employment of residents of the City and County of Denver and the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium, citywide (OEDEV-202578279).
