Consent Items
Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of
Commerce Economic Development Administration
(DOC/EDA) for $3,031,810.00 with an end date of
1-15-2027 for the training and employment of residents
of the City and County of Denver and the
Arapahoe/Douglas Works, citywide (OEDEV-202579987).
Amends a contract with Centro Humanitario Para Los
Trabajadores to add six months for a new end date of
12-31-2025 to administer WorkReady Denver which
builds a pipeline of talent into jobs that are experiencing
significant labor shortages by providing individuals who
are on a path to work authorization access to education,
training, and employment opportunities, citywide
(OEDEV-202473370/OEDEV-202580050-01).
Amends an Intergovernmental Agreement with the
Community College of Denver (CCD) to add six months
for a new end date of 12-31-2025 for the Denver
Construction Careers Program Incumbent Worker Training
program, citywide
(OEDEV-202477257/OEDEV-202580043-01).
