A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Agreement  
between the City and County of Denver and Denver  
Health and Hospital Authority, to provide comprehensive  
correctional health care services for people in custody at  
the Denver County Jail and the Downtown Detention  
Center, in Council Districts 8 and 10.  
Approves a contract with Denver Health and Hospital  
Authority for $55,031,460.00 with an end date  
12-31-2028 to provide comprehensive correctional health  
care services for people in custody at the Denver County  
Jail and the Downtown Detention Center, in Council  
Districts 8 and 10 (SHERF-202685097). The last regularly  
scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review  
period is on 8-17-2026. The Committee approved filing  
this item at its meeting on 7-22-2026.

Consent Items  
Amends a Revenue Intergovernmental Agreement with  
Regional Transportation District (RTD) to expand the  
services provided by Denver Human Services for  
eligibility determination, application processing, and  
services related to the RTD LiVE Program. No change to  
the capacity or term, citywide  
(SOCSV-202474273/SOCSV-202684832-01).  
Approves a grant agreement with the Executive Office of  
the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy  
(ONDCP), for $860,516.00 with an end date of 3-31-2028  
to support initiatives of the Rocky Mountain High  
Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program aiding  
Federal, State, Local and Tribal law enforcement agencies  
operating in areas determined to be critical  
drug-trafficking regions of the United States, citywide  
(POLIC-202685264).  
Amends a contract with Jefferson County Public Health  
(JCPH) to add $241,000.00 for a new total of  
$655,180.98 and to add one year for a new end date of  
6-30-2027 to continue the work of addressing healthy  
food access in the Denver Metro area as part of a regional  
food security strategy, citywide  
(ENVHL-202475653/ENVHL-202684798-02).  
Amends a contract with Barton Institute for Community  
Action, fiscal sponsor of Food Justice Northwest Aurora  
(FJNWA) to add $239,000.00 for a new total of  
$702,000.00 and to add one year for a new end date of  
6-30-2027 to continue the work of addressing healthy  
food access in the Denver Metro area as part of a regional  
food security strategy, citywide
