President Torres presiding, to hear speakers on Council Bill 23-1047. Katie McKenna,  
Angela Garcia, Carmen Olague, Imelda Garcia, Angelina Torres, Mercedes  
Gonzalez, Maria E De Luna Jiminez, Nola Miguel, Erika Delzell, and Ana Varela  
signed up to speak in favor of the bill. Caroline Acha and Jesse Parris signed up to

PRE-ADJOURNMENT ANNOUNCEMENT  
Council President Torres announced that on Monday, October 30, 2023, Council will hold  
a required public hearing on Council Bill 23-1300 changing the zoning classification for  
200 West Warner Place in Globeville; and on Monday, November 6, 2023, Council will  
hold a required public hearing on Council Bill 23-1297 changing the zoning classification  
for 4583 North Yates Street in Berkeley; and a required public hearing on Council Bill  
23-1306 changing the zoning classification for 1925 South Cook Street in University  
Park. Any protests against Council Bill 23-1300 must be filed with the Council Offices  
no later than noon on Monday, October 23, 2023. Any protests against Council Bill  
23-1297 and Council Bill 23-1306 must be filed with the Council Offices no later than  
noon on Monday, October 30, 2023.  
Council President Torres also announced that on Monday, October 16, 2023, Council is  
scheduled to sit as the quasi-judicial Board of Equalization to consider reduction of total  
cost assessments for Local Maintenance Districts. No written protests of assessment  
were filed with the Manager of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure by  
the deadline of September 28, 2023, Therefore, Council will not sit as the Board of  
Equalization for the following Local Maintenance Districts on Monday, October 16, 2023:
