COUNCIL ANNOUNCEMENTS  
On Monday, November 6, 2023, Council is scheduled to sit as the  
quasi-judicial Board of Equalization to consider reduction of total cost  
assessments for Local Maintenance Districts. One written protest of  
assessment for the Phase II Broadway Pedestrian Mall, which is located in  
Council District 7, was filed with the Manager of the Department of  
Transportation and Infrastructure by the deadline of October 19, 2023.  
Therefore, Council will sit as the Board of Equalization for the Phase II  
Broadway Pedestrian Mall.  
No written protests of assessment were filed with the Manager of the  
Department of Transportation and Infrastructure by the deadline of October  
19, 2023, for the following Local Maintenance Districts and, therefore,  
Council will not sit as the Board of Equalization on Monday, November 6,  
2023, for:

hold a required public hearing on Council Bill 23-1466 changing the zoning  
classification for 3216 North High Street in Cole; a required public hearing  
on Council Bill 23-1481 changing the zoning classification for 560 South  
Emerson Street in Washington Park West; and a required public hearing on  
Council Bill 23-1485 changing the zoning classification for 3701 West 9th  
Avenue in Villa Park. Any protests against Council Bills 23-1466, 23-1481,  
and 23-1485 must be filed with the Council Offices no later than noon on  
Monday, November 27, 2023.
