Council sat as a Committee of the Whole, commencing at 6:28 p.m., Council
President Torres presiding, to hear speakers on Council Bill 24-0156. Jesse Parris,
Ondrea Trahan, Andre Wilkey, Vince Vecchiarelli, Matt Zeman, Paul Miller, and
Cameron Stringer signed up to speak in favor of the bill. No speakers signed up to
speak in opposition of the bill. Edson Ibañez of Community Planning and
Development delivered the staff report.
A motion offered by Council President Pro Tem Sandoval, duly seconded by Council
member Hinds, that Council Bill 24-0156 be placed upon final consideration and do
pass, carried by the following vote:

Council President Torres announced that, on Monday, June 3, 2024, Council will hold a
required public hearing on Council Bill 24-0514 changing the zoning classification for
3358 York Street in Clayton; a required public hearing on Council Bill 24-0515 changing
the zoning classification for 2081 South Gilpin Street in University; and a required
public hearing on Council Bill 24-0557 changing the zoning classification for multiple
properties in Berkeley, Sunnyside, and Sloan's Lake neighborhoods. Any protests
against Council Bills 24-0514, 24-0515, and 24-0557 must be filed with the Council
Offices no later than noon on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
