Type and Scope of services to be performed:

A robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) program is paramount to strong cybersecurity. SailPoint is a key component of the City’s IAM program, as it is used to create/delete user ID and access. Technology Services has strategically modernized its identity program by implementing the SailPoint for Identity Management software. SailPoint contains governance and auditing tools to ensure all 17,000 City employees have access to what they need when they need it. SailPoint also provides tools to remove access when it is not needed in the example of an employee transfer. This move has resulted in an alignment on fewer platforms thus providing an optimized solution that is more aligned with security industry standards.

The City is currently using SailPoint's on-premise IAM software. SailPoint has changed their product's profile and will only be offering their cloud solution. They will stop supporting the on-premise versions within the year. The cloud version of SailPoint's IAM solution will offer the City additional features, functionality and reporting not currently available with the current on-premise solution.  In addition, cloud-based applications offer less City-provided maintenance and support, plus added resiliency. This amendment will allow for the professional services to migrate from our on-premise version to the cloud version as well as to continue with SailPoint's support and maintenance program.
