Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Provides the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) solution though which the Risk Management Office adjust all claims overseen by the Risk office including Workers’ Compensation, auto, property, and certain liability claims. Workers’ Compensation claims, for which we are self-insured and self-administered, make up most clams in the system (55,354 of the 90,924 claims currently in the system). Such claims are managed with benefits processed per the requirements in the Colorado Workers’ Compensation Act. The RMIS system contains all information required for the adjusting of a claim, including medical and injury information, personal data, and financial information such as salary. Analysis of losses, based on the captured data, is performed to identify trends and make informed decisions that mitigate future losses. Ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual analytics are generated for use in developing loss prevention strategies with Departments/Agencies.
