A resolution approving and providing for the execution of a proposed Grant Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the United States of America, Office of National Drug Control Policy, concerning the “High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area” program and the funding therefor.
Approves a grant agreement with the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) for $842,544.00 with an end date of 3-31-2027 to support initiatives of the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program aiding Federal, State, Local and Tribal law enforcement agencies operating in areas determined to be critical drug-trafficking regions of the United States, citywide (POLIC-202579944). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 8-25-2025. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 7-16-2025.
