A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Amendment to Agreement between the City and County of Denver and Urban Drainage and Flood Control District regarding the Marston Lake North Drainageway South Garrison Street to the Eastern Limit of West Stanford Avenue.
Adds $1 million in City funds and $750,000 in Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) funds to an intergovernmental agreement with UDFCD for a new contract total of $1,950,000 to remove properties from the regulated floodplain associated with the Marston Lake North Drainageway Improvements Project from South Garrison Street to the Eastern Limit of West Stanford Avenue in Council District 2 (201313021). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 6-25-18. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 5-8-18.

The proposed amendment to Contract 201313021 will add an additional $1,000,000.00 of City funds and $750,000.00 UDFCD funds to the Marston Lake North Drainageway Improvements Project, for a new contract total of $1,950,000.00, to remove properties from the regulated floodplain. Urban Drainage and Flood Control District is the contracting authority, so funds will be paid to UDFCD.
Design and Construction of Drainage and Flood Control Improvements from South Garrison Street to the Eastern Limit of West Stanford Avenue will be managed by UDFCD. These funds are in addition to $100,000.00 City enterprise funds and $100,000.00 UDFCD funds previously committed through the original agreement.
