Type and Scope of services to be performed:
This Elevate Denver General Obligation (GO) Bond project will convert approximately 1400' of existing asphalt roadway at Arkins Court from 35th to 38th Avenues into a linear park with water quality elements, landscaping, hardscape multiuse paths, planter boxes, play elements, seating, and an elevated gangway structure. This project will provide necessary public space to sit, have events, play, and exercise. The unique elevated gangway structure provides an ADA accessible walkway spanning approximately 500 feet that rises 14’ above the park below and has group seating, a crow’s nest, hanging benches, cargo netting, and overlook areas to look out at the South Platte River below.
Elements of construction in this project include earthwork, concrete edging, walls, curbing, flatwork, and paving, asphalt milling and overlay, asphalt paving, decking, drilling, structure fabrication and erection, storm pipe installation, wiring, lighting, irrigation, and landscaping.
