A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Second Amended and Restated Operating Agreement and Appendices for Fiscal Year 2018 between the City and County of Denver and Denver Health and Hospital Authority, providing for the amounts to be paid for services by the City and County of Denver and by the Denver Health and Hospital Authority for Fiscal Year 2018 and amending other provisions of the Second Amended and Restated Operating Agreement and Appendices for Fiscal Year 2018.
Approves the 2018 Denver Health and Hospital Authority operating agreement (ENVHL-CE60436-29). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 11-13-17. The Committee approved filing this bill at its meeting on 10-11-17.

The ordinance will approve the second amendment and restatement of the intergovernmental agreement between the City and DHHA that has been in effect since 1997, and the appendices to the agreement for fiscal year 2018. The contract will reflect new funding levels and other necessary adjustments for 2018. The proposed contract amount is for the City to expend funds of $64,047,203 for DHHA services and the City to receive funds of $2,526,371 for City services provided to DHHA.
