A bill for an ordinance approving a proposed Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and University of Colorado Hospital Authority, to provide care, treatment, and supportive services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Amends an intergovernmental agreement with University of Colorado Hospital Authority (202368046-00) to add $863,197 for a new total of $1,050,065 and a new end term of 2-29-2024 to provide care, treatment, and supportive services to individuals living with HIV/AIDS, citywide. 202369751-01. The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 12-4-2023. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 11-1-2023.

Type and Scope of services to be performed:
University of Colorado Hospital Authority provides Case Management Continuum, Early Intervention Services, Mental Health Services, Outpatient Ambulatory Health Services, and Substance Abuse Outpatient Care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS residing in the Denver TGA.
The term is being extended by one day because the first Notice of Award (NOA) from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) had an end date of 02/28/2024. This amendment adds in the additional funding from the second NOA and adjusts the end date to 02/29/2024.
