Type and Scope of services to be performed:

L3Harris will provide project management, procure, build, and configure the Network Switching Center VIDA® platform that manages Denver International Airport's Public Safety Radio Service (PSRS). This radio service provides the primary means of communication for emergency first responders at Denver International Airport and supporting agencies from the City of Denver, other local, state, and federal agencies, surrounding municipalities, as well as airport operations and approved tenant partners.

 

The current L3Harris solution used at Denver International Airport is nearing the manufacturer's recommended useful life, dated December 31st, 2023. The L3Harris equipment resides in multiple locations across the airport, the South Campus data center, Concourse A data center, Airport Operations Communication Center, the Alternate Communication Center ramp level Concourse A, B Concourse Ramp Tower, and the Antenna farm on the west side of the airport property. The upgrade will replace 20 network routers, 16 network switches and install the latest release of the VITA application suite software on 41 workstations used by Airport Operations.

 

Once the installation is complete, for the term of the contract, L3 Harris team will provide round-the-clock 24/7 x 365 Managed Services for the solution. Services include proactive fault monitoring and management of the solution infrastructure via their Network Operations Center, premium technical support and repair services, installation of the system, application and cyber security updates, and annual preventative system maintenance.
