Vendor/Contractor Name (including any “DBA”): DCP Wattenberg Pipeline, LLC
Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The purpose of this contract is a revenue agreement with DCP Wattenberg Pipeline, LLC (DCP) for surface access allowing them to build a solar powered monitoring device for their pipeline on Denver International Airport’s (DEN) property. This will improve DCP’s emergency response and mitigate impact to the airport and public in case of an emergency in the area. By installing the new surface equipment at the valve, DCP will be able to remotely close the valve from a remote control center immediately when notified of an issue. DCP currently monitors the line manually and has to send an employee out to the site to shut off the valve. DCP is automating this valve to maintain compliance with CDOT regulations. They cannot make this improvement without a surface easement.
