Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 

This is a contract amendment request related to DEDO’s Business Impact Opportunity Fund program currently administered by Mile High United Way (MHUW). With an additional $5M in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and an extension of the contract end date to 6/30/2026, MHUW will continue to provide both direct financial assistance in the form of grants and business technical assistance to preserve small businesses and build capacity and resilience to better withstand economic shocks such as those brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The direct financial assistance will provide grants to qualified businesses in one of three categories: Stabilization, Activation, or Anti-Displacement. Immediate technical assistance and wraparound supports as well as long-term technical assistance and strategies to aid the business will be coordinated by MHUW and delivered in collaboration with the appropriate community partners. In total, this program is anticipated to support 500-600 businesses, with over 300 businesses having already receiving grant support since April 2022.
