This request is for a competitive award to two Small Business Enterprises (SBE) with contracts for On-Call General Contractor (GC) Construction Services at Denver International Airport (DEN). DEN utilizes on-call general construction contracts for various projects from limited office renovations, general facility minor and major repairs, and larger-scale construction of new facilities or enhancements for existing facilities throughout the main terminal, concourses, airfield, and surrounding area. Two contracts are requested for awards to multiple SBE General Contractors to both promote small business participation in DEN’s projects and to have an ongoing mechanism to competitively procure each construction task awarded under these contracts.
The scope of this contract can vary widely; the general contractor is needed to coordinate construction among various subcontractors. The types of projects could include but are not limited to facility space reconfigurations, concourse renovations, interior finishes, structural repairs, concrete repair and paving, gate equipment replacements, and roofing/waterproofing.
