Type and Scope of services to be performed:

 

A previous concession license providing food and retail services at Echo Lake Lodge expired in 2022. DPR is undergoing planning efforts for the future use of the lodge. In the interim, this contract will provide food and beverage service to the public. Such services are important given the remote location of the Park and the absence of services in the area.

 

SkiEcho, LLC will provide and operate a mobile food truck in the parking lot of Echo Lake Lodge. The food truck operates as a self-contained unit that can provide food and beverage service to park visitors during the temporary closure of Echo Lake Lodge. The food truck will operate 7 days per week during the summer season and may operate part-time during shoulder seasons. The food truck will not operate during the winter season. SkiEcho, LLC will pay the City a weekly site fee of $125 for use of the site in addition to has committed to providing 11% of the monthly gross revenues from the operation of the food truck under gross revenue each month to Denver Parks & Recreation with this contract. The term of the agreement is from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, and may be extended by amendment and approved through council, for up to 2 additional 1-year terms.
