Amends a contract with The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless by adding $318,749 for a new total of $806,461 and 4.5 months for a new end date of 12-31-20 to provide staffing for screening and triage at shelters for people experiencing homelessness in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (HOST202054658; HOST202055726-01). Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to provide staffing to support people experiencing homelessness in response to the COVID-19 public health crisis. Such staffing will primarily be used to provide medical screening for symptoms of COVID-19 upon entry to auxiliary shelter facilities, located at the Denver Coliseum and formerly also including the National Western Complex; as well as additional clinical triage for those guests identified to be displaying concerning symptoms and needing further assessment or referral to testing. This medical screening/triage serves to protect healthy congregate shelter guests from exposure to illness, as well as to serve to connect symptomatic shelter guests to appropriate resources.
