Type and Scope of services to be performed:

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is requesting $1,493,000, which in includes $1,253,000 approved during the right of first refusal evaluation and an additional $240,000 in methamphetamine remediation. This funding will be provided in the form of an ARPA grant, with no interest or payments due. They will leverage the City's funding with $930,340 of their own equity and $330,000 in Colorado Division of Housing funds.

 

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver will own the property through the rehabilitation period and will then separate the land from improvements and transfer the land to Colorado Community Land Trust.

 

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver must record a Colorado Community Land Trust ground lease, approved by the City, that provides the City a right of first refusal to purchase the land if HFHMD proposes to transfer the leased land to a non-profit corporation, charitable trust, government agency or other similar institution. Additionally, each initial and subsequent buyer must execute a City Lease Rider which is recorded upon sale of each unit.
