Denver Human Services requests $300,000 in supplemental appropriation primarily to address a higher demand in rental and eviction assistance. The current appropriation to the General Assistance Fund No. 13305, cost center 5551100 is $1,510,015. The requested supplemental will bring the appropriation level to $1,810,015, representing a 20% increase. The 2021 Human Services budget includes an additional $1 million specifically appropriated for eviction assistance.
