A resolution approving a proposed First Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and The Fax East Colfax Redevelopment, LLC to increase the maximum contract amount and increase the number of shelter units being provided at 8405 & 8415 E. Colfax Ave., in Council District 8.
Amends a contract with The Fax East Colfax Redevelopment, LLC by adding $293,953 for a new total of $1,277,409 to renovate additional units so that the total number of shelter units will be increased from 34 to 37, at the Sand & Sage Motel and Westerner Motel, which will operate temporarily as non-congregate shelter and will ultimately be redeveloped into affordable housing in Council District 8. No change to contract duration (HOST-202369154-01/HOST-202265304). The last regularly scheduled Council meeting within the 30-day review period is on 9-11-2023. The Committee approved filing this item at its meeting on 8-9-2023.
