Type and Scope of services to be performed:
Construction services for the Gates C40 & C42 Rehabilitation Project at Denver International Airport (DEN). This project is a continuation of the DEN Gate Apron Drainage and Rehabilitation Improvements (GARDI) Program. The scope of work will include demolition and rehabilitation of existing apron pavement and select underground utilities to improve the pavement condition and drainage condition. Additionally, there are numerous DEN Project Requests that will be addressed with this phase of the GARDI Program. By fixing existing heaving pavement issues, this project will significantly improve the gate apron drainage condition. As a result, the existing problem of flooding at interior concourse apron-level spaces will be addressed. Additionally, existing non-compliance issues of electrical components associated with Lift Station #11 will be corrected. Furthermore, existing sanitary sewer overflows occurring in the area will be corrected with the installation of new sanitary sewer infrastructure. Lastly, other rehabilitation efforts to the apron parking positions are included with the project scope including new potable water cabinets, new storm drain and sanitary structures, and other miscellaneous utility improvements. The project will be closely coordinated with DEN Stakeholders during construction to minimize operational impacts during construction.
