Type and Scope of services to be performed:
The City currently uses the Kronos Workforce Central (time and attendance tracking) on-premise, legacy application. The City would like to move from the legacy application to Kronos’ modern cloud-based application. This is the newest version provided by Kronos. The cloud-based application provides real-time access for all City employees from anywhere, anytime, on any device. This will provide a more stable product, modern user interface and will be upgraded with new features and functionality by the vendor on an annual basis. The City will be able to produce more robust reporting for the Payroll division and the new cloud version will alleviate support issues for both Payroll and Technology Services and will increase user satisfaction and adoption.
Kronos’ Workforce Central application is used to manage schedules, track time and attendance, administer absence and leave, and measure productivity. Moving from the City’s current on-premise, legacy application to the vendor hosted cloud application will also provide improved platform security that boosts reliability and performance, blocks vulnerabilities, and supports the latest browser versions.
